Two days ago, pumunta ako sa iskul na pinag-aaplayan ko. Pinag-fill-out na ako ng ilang mga papeles para sa aking personal info. Tsk. Wala na, matanda na nga talaga ako. Yung mga finill-out-an ko kasi, hindi na pang-estudyante. May tinatanong na no. of children, no. of dependents, may pa-thumbmark-thumbmark na, may tungkol pa sa tax, etc. Tapos, pinagpapasa na rin nila ako ng NBI clearance, birth certificate, at iba pang papeles pangmatanda.
Kung maaayos ang mga required papers at physical exam, magtuturo na ako sa June. Makakasama na ako sa workforce ng bansa…
At kanina, bumoto na ako. Nung umaga, di-mahulugang karayom yung iskul ko nung elementary na siyang voting site ng aming barangay. Pamatay ang init at siksikan at nagkalat na mga papel. Boloks talaga ang sistema. Mga 5:30 ng hapon na lang ako bumoto, konti na lang ang tao. Wow, sosyal, hinigop ng PCOS ang balota ko. Tapos nilagyan ng indelible ink ang hintuturo ko. Naman, isa na akong ganap na mamamayan ng Pilipinas…
Tsk, wala na rin pala akong discount sa jip…

Kainis, gusto ko na uling magbasa ng mga akdang ganyan kalalalim ang salita. Gusto kong balikan ang mga lumang libro sa Filipino. Bad trip naman kasi ang kompyuter at TV, hinahadlangan ako! Panira talaga ang teknolohiyang ‘yan. Mahilig naman akong magbasa noon, as in. Kaasar lang talaga nang magkaroon kami ng kompyuter at nagkaroon ng cable ang TV namin, nabobo ako. Ajujujuju. ‘Yang sina Rizal, kaya matalino silang mga ninuno natin ay dahil walang comp o TV o cp noon. Subukan lang niyang Rizal na iyan na mabuhay sa panahon ngayon, ewan ko lang kung makapagconcentrate siya sa pag-aaral at sa pagsusulat niya. Baka wala na siyang atupagin kundi ang tumutok sa Internet. I’m sure, maaadik ‘yan sa pagchachat. Lolz.
